Play Ball 4 Kids Events – Each year, UIF hosts three events for PB4K sponsors. Most sponsors represent a small business or corporation and provide large gifts to help run UIF programs. We host a kickoff luncheon ”draft” party to recruit new sponsors in mid-April, a tailgate party and pre-season game in August, and an appreciation dinner in November. We have a table at the Expo, serve a pancake breakfast to the community, host a pasta dinner, organize a cheer-a-thon, and have a finish line festival for runners. Click here for marathon FAQs. Coach Mike Tomlin and prominent local pastors participate in this conference, which is held on June 4th at Victory Family Church in Cranberry Township. Connexions Volunteer Training – UIF holds four large-scale volunteer trainings each year (in August, November, January, and April) to educate volunteers on the needs of at-risk kids, how to create safe and loving environments for them to grow, and how to minister to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
